I love having the ability to create something unique. This again was for a design challenge for an interview by Virginia Tech. I played off my Easter graphic that I had made for Clemson earlier in the year. The title became a play on ABC’s The bachelor/ bachelorette TV show as well.

This process started exactly how my Easter graphic started. I cut out all the necessary elements I was going to need masked. I grabbed clips of roses in a field and multiplied them with a lot of masks and shadows. Then I layered behind a mountain range and changed the sky to match the vibe. There I added my text and layered on a color look up filter to tie everything together.

With the time frame of 60 minutes to finish this graphic start to finish. I realized I spent too much time on elements that I could have fixed after I got my main element in the place that I had wanted, so prioritizing what I wanted to be the best first is something I learned instead of dwelling in the littlest things.
